For two thousand years the bacilli of anti-Semitism corroded the Western civilization with dire consequences. Seventy years ago, Hitler using anti-Semitic battle cries mesmerized the German people and converted them into a nation of warring barbarians. Through anti-Semitism Hitler gained power and started WWII, a war that claimed the lives of over 50 million people.

At the turn of the Twentieth century the tsarist Russia was in dire need of agrarian reforms. The land was in the hands of the aristocracy while the peasants, lived in worse conditions that their livestock. To avoid reforms and to divert the attention of the peasants the Tsar unleashed a series of anti-Jewish pogroms. It was a successful trick. The aristocracy retained their vast land holdings while the peasants enjoyed the pogroms. A decade later the landless peasantry joined the communist revolution, guaranteeing its success.

Today, most of the Muslim nations are boxed in into lives full of hopelessness and helplessness caused by explosive population growth, corrupted leadership, and technological backwardness. For at least 25 years the Muslim leaders were using America as a scapegoat for the failures of their regimes. America is portrayed the Great Satan responsible for all their miseries. Today the Muslim fanatics are using anti-Semitism and the Palestinian Israeli conflict to promote terrorism aimed at bringing down the Western civilization.

Seventy years ago, Europe conditioned by anti-Jewish prejudices, turned a deaf near toward Hitler's persecution of the Jews and. they were the next victims. Similarly today, Europe conditioned by the same prejudices, is siding with the Palestinians, condemning the victims and condoning the terrorist activities, not realizing that they too could be the next victims. Terror is not only indiscriminating but also contagious.

Hitler wanted to create a new world order based on brutality, slavery, cruelty and "racial purity." Similarly the Muslim fanatics would like to impose on the world a Taliban type regime based on cruelty, ignorance and religious "purity". Hitler's folly was stopped at a cost of fifty million lives. How many people will have to lose their lives to remove the danger of the terrorist folly?

Conclusions
Anti-Semitism helped indirectly in unleashing the catastrophic WWII, and contributed to the success of the establishing the cancerous movements of despair: communism and fascism. Today anti-Semitism helps in establishing of the universal reign of suicide bombers terror. Anti-Semitism is a dangerous social aberration.

Two thousand years of demonization of the Jewish people undermined the quest for justice and the ethical values of our civilization. It also introduced an element of instability, by giving the scheming demagogues a borderless universal tool for gaining control of the masses. The removal of anti-Semitism is necessary not so much to bring justice to the Jewish people but to remove the pen-tup irrational forces that cause periodic upheavals and built a better, stable and secure world for our children.
